Quiet corner in bustling seaside village

About this backyard

Best spot to pop a tent would be in our front garden. I have a couple of containers along the front and lots vegetation and bushes down the sides so it's quite a private spot. We're right in the hear of the village, less than 5 min walk to the Four Square (mini supermarket), pharmacy, cafes, bars and the wharf. There's a large kids playground and park just round the corner with public toilets and another toilet block down at the Mapua Wharf. If you're doing a cycle tour, let me know and I can sort shelter for your bikes. I'd like you to have arrived and set up before 7pm and to leave by 10am the next day, but can be more flexible depending on day of the week and whatever else is going on - so please just ask. No loud noise after 10pm or noise control will be called and we'll all get in trouble! Smoking and vaping is fine - you're well away from the house and neighbours. Two guests and one tent max please. Contact me if you'd like more so we can discuss it and work out if we can make it work or not. Absolutely no pets - the property is not fenced and there are more than enough dogs and cats in the village! There's usually space for a car - contact me so we can work out where it can park. I've a selection of bins easily accessible which I can go through with you (rubbish, recycling, glass, compost). Free if you just want the camping space and a parking spot. $10 per person extra if you want access to toilet / power / shower / laundry.
